When I read the Death Caller Duet, I knew I needed more from this world, and this book delivered. It occurs concurrently with the events of the DCD so reading it first is fine. I devoured this book. It entranced me and had me on the edge of my seat throughout. There is so much angst, longing, heartbreak and betrayal, and some characters you love to hate.
