Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶 This series has me in a chokehold and somehow it just keeps getting better 😩🔥 Murmur and Suyin?? I’m OBSESSED. The slow burn from indifference to reluctant allies to lovers was so good. Their dynamic is brutally honest, a little chaotic and completely addictive 🖤 She pushes back on everything, he’s a grumpy, emotionally repressed menace… perfection. Murmur is officially top tier demon boyfriend 😈 the dry humor, the “I don’t have feelings but touch her and die”...

This one took me a little to get into but when I did, I couldn’t put it down. I even sliced my finger making Easter dinner, ended up at the ER for hours and still came home and read for 2 hours before bed. I really wasn’t sure if I’d like Murmur or Suyin but I ended up loving them, not as much as Ash and Eva but close. I can’t wait to read Bel’s book, just hoping the love interest is Eva’s friend. )
