My eyes still leaking. Idk how Kimmie managed to make me care about these characters so fast but she did. This is outside what we normally get from her and I hope she decided to step into her paranormal romance bag more. This gave ME everything I wanted. This starts off kind of rough. The separation between what’s reality and what’s not is clear but the inner monologue and the MMC’s actions and attitude didn’t line up for me and I was confused more often than not. This novella had me hooked from the very beginning, until the last page. AND I STILL WANT MORE. This isn't a \"normal\" paranormal romance. Somehow the author weaved a story that left me invested, confused, screaming with happiness, upset, on the edge of my seat, and emotional. I cried! I didn't know what to expect, and without telling the story, that's all I can say. I hope we see more of this couple as well as Elani and Jacob. )
