Georgetown Glen : Queermunity Living at Its Finest

About this book

Lucy Manetti is positively euphoric over her recent purchase of an old ghost town. Unfortunately, she failed to consult with her wife, Bea, before buying the abandoned village. Predictably, Bea is not as enamored with transforming the ghost town into a sapphic retirement community, but Bea’s love for her wife trumps her displeasure over Lucy’s impulsiveness. The mature couple hires Fiona, an expert at restoring old houses, and Saville, a certified electrician, to bring the ghost town back to its glory days.

According to the adorable real estate agent who recommended the pair, Fiona and Saville have history. Lucy detects a spark between the two young women and decides, against the advice of her wife, to play matchmaker, bringing her beautiful niece into the mix. As the ragtag team begins their work on the old saloon, they discover a lot more than they bargained for, including ghosts, long-buried secrets, an abused golden retriever, and maybe even love.

Loved it!!!! Unique but believable!

What better than a real ghost town with real ghosts? When Lucy bought a rundown ghost town without her wife Bea's approval, she was asking for trouble. Lucky that Bea was indulgent of Lucy's actions. No one but this author could pull this story off as being believable! I was introduced to real ghosts that I totally fell in love with. I was gifted with Lucy and Bea's love story that had a beginning years ago. Then there was the story of Fiona and Saville that had Lucy playing matchmaker to....

WOW, what a story!

A ghost town, a bit of history of the West, a lesbian retirement community, a kidnapped dog, long buried secrets, an older couple and a second chance at love. Can the five friends get to the bottom of what really happened at their ghost town? I loved the mystery surrounding the ghosts and how they, little by little, find out the truth. I loved how they work together and how they complement and take care of each other. Georgetown Glen is a sweet, funny and amazing story with characters that warm...

If you want an entertaining read full of great characters that are so well developed that you feel like you know them, then this book is for you! I love the that Lucy and Bea are of retirement age and still are Living vibrant lives. I hated when this book ended, I just wanted the story to keep going! Lots of great living characters & Ghosts and love abounds in this story. I hope we will have more books around the...

It is so hard to say just how much I love this story. Saville and Fiona are the builders bringing a ghost town to life but their relationship heats up the pages. Lucy who has the vision of Georgetown Glen and her partner Bea make the fun and sexy just so real. The cast of characters which include a couple of ghosts are just icing on a very magnificent story. The mystery of what happened to the owners of the saloon unfolds in a dramatic but amazing story telling way. I love history and the west...

Because I was born & raised in the N.W. & I believe in Spirits, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I could picture where this Ghost Town was located. George & Ruth's story was believable to me. I want to become part of the Queermunity at Georgetown Glen. )
