compelling read

The main story hooks you in and you'll likely stay up too late too many nights reading just one more chapter as you discover through this very complex universe. Meanwhile, when you're at your boring day job, and you're daydreaming, you'll realize all sorts of funky parallels and metaphors and symbols are all mixed in with the text, and you'll make notes to go back and check details. Also, there are just some really vivid emotional moments. And some of the most creative and unusual monsters....

Compelling.

This was my first venture into this genre. I was not disappointed. Intriguing from the start and could not stop reading. Looking for a sequel. )
