At first I wasn’t so sure, it reminded me of a movie that came out 30 years ago. However, the more it progressed, it was a very different love story, though it followed the same paranormal theme. I read it in one sitting! Loved the chemistry and spice that did not detract from the plot. READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS!! Can’t stress that enough!! Such a good read I’ll keep close to me for awhile. ❤️♥️❤️♥️ )

Head’s up! This is a retelling of The Crow. I confess, I loved that movie with Brandon Lee, so I couldn’t help but compare this very closely to that. Goodness I walked into this with very little hope the crow is my all time favorite movie and any rewrites usually leave a sour taste but this….. this was a version. I didn’t realize my heart and soul needed. I don’t think theirs a soul alive who could replace Branden Lee as the crow But discovering the raven and her vengeance story …… I AM IN LOVE all over again!!! Wow! What an emotional love story! It reminded me very much of Brandon Lee's The Crow, with Raven's spirit seeking revenge for not just herself, but her lost fiance. Raven goes through the story thinking that revenge is what her soul needs in order to find peace. But just when you think she's going to find the peaceful ending we were all expecting, you're met with the most delicious plot twist. I didn't expect that ending, but I loved every bit of it.
