If this is the first of a new series, then I cannot wait to read the rest. And it looks like there will be SEVEN books in this series! Summer reading, here I come!! This book has all the charm, humor, tenderness, suspense and twists you expect from these superb authors. I had a feeling where the story was going, and I won't tell you if I was correct or not, but it in no way diminished the action, drama and romance between these two characters. This book was really not what I was expecting... But here we go. Lucius Franglico... vampire king is hundreds of years old if not thousands...nothing seems to surprise him anymore. Vampire dom buys \"enslaved shifter. Its a set up of course. The shifter wants to kill the vampire due to her understanding he was responsible for killing her pack. Of course we know along the way feelings change, truths come out and decisions are made. Even though you could figure out the entire book from the get go, it was still a solid read. )
