Good add to the series.... I've been wanting to know what Sam's deal was since the 1st book in the series. So much of how he acts makes sense after reading this one. Layne definitely brings out a softer side you could never guessed he had. We are finally getting somewhere with the labs that is an underlying issue throughout the series, still some loose ends to tie up. I also can't wait for Nash's story. The fifth story in the Bad Boy Alpha series will read well as a stand-alone but even better with the other stories in this series. It will have key people from the previous stories, as well as, a continuing saga in the storyline. We met Sam in the first book with Jackson and Kylie.
