I have never wanted to throat punch a character more! Ms. Hale really knows how to write a character to hate. It's a toss-up between Chloe, Patrick, and Maryanne. She also knows how to write men who make you swoon. Leighton's men are so sweet. They do stupid things (cough cough Trace), but their feelings are obvious. The story is strong and intriguing and definitely suspenseful. I hope EVERYONE gets the ending they deserve. ) One person found this helpful

I LOVE how fast paced this book is and the connection between each character, I eat it UP. 🤌🏼 I also love how strong each character is in their own way. There are some things that Leighton does that irritates me but it’s mainly because she overreacts and is in her own world sometimes lol besides that I think she has had improvement since book 1. )
