Claws & Crochet (Wolves of Pine Falls Book 1)

by Lauren Connolly

About this book

She’s used to hooking yarn, not hooking werewolves…

When Zoey's estranged grandmother passes away, the crafty crocheter volunteers to venture to Pine Falls, Colorado to clean out the woman's cabin. But when a confusing flyer lands Zoey and her balls of yarn in the middle of a motorcycle club's bar, she becomes tangled with the residents of the mysterious small town. One handsome biker in particular seems hell bent on tying her up in knots.

Warner Jameson wants Zoey. She smells like the perfect mate with a side of maple syrup and her laughter is the sweetest sound he's ever heard. When the woman appears in the Dark Moon Riders' bar toting a bag of crafts and showing no fear toward the mass of intimidating bikers, it's all Warner can do to keep from kneeling at her feet. The problem is, not only is Zoey an out-of-towner, she's human. And he's...not.

Unwilling to let his supernatural secret ruin his happiness, Warner decides to show Zoey just how lovable a monster can be. It helps that she needs rescuing a time or two. But what start out as unlucky accidents, soon become clear actions of sabotage against the woman he's falling for. Someone in Pine Falls doesn't want Zoey sticking around…

Charming read!

Claws and Crochet was such a pleasant surprise. I picked it up because the title sounded cute, but I ended up really connecting with the story. The small-town vibe feels familiar in the best way, and the magical elements add just enough sparkle without taking away from the characters. I loved how cozy and creative the crochet theme was, and the way it ties into the plot made the whole world feel unique. The main character felt relatable, especially her little moments of self-doubt mixed with...

Light, sweet and fun!

I'm pretty sure I bought this because I love to crochet and I also love werewolf romance novels. I was in a bit of a reading slump and this book was just what I needed. The main characters are sweet and fun and I love the quirkiness of Zoey. Warner is the sweetest!! I love his energy, protective but not domineering. All the easy smiles. Their families and friends are adorable too. It was so easy to just be immersed in this world. Zoey struggles with depression and I've been there myself with...

Possibly the most adorable book ever?

I really really loved this book. I was giggling and kicking my feet the whole way through. The spice was just right and the banter was perfection. I was crushing on the MMC and MFC the whole way through. Can’t wait for more from this series! ) One person found this helpful

This is a fun, small-town shifter biker romance and the first in the Wolves of Pine Falls series. Human FMC Zoey is temporarily in Pine Falls to clear out her grandmother’s cabin. One night, she tries to attend a crochet meeting and instead meets Warner, a werewolf on a motorcycle with serious golden retriever energy. It’s a lighthearted story with a little bit of everything, small-town charm, biker vibes, and sexy shifters. Warner is sweet, loyal, and totally smitten. Zoey is a neurotic little...
