About this book

For those who crave a dark, atmospheric twist on a classic tale, this shifter romance delivers a gripping journey into the woods where the shadows bite back. Lena is no damsel in distress; when she is marked as the next sacrifice to a sinister forest curse, she chooses defiance over destiny. Venturing into the heart of the unknown, she finds herself caught between two men who define her path: her fiercely protective best friend, Calder, and the enigmatic, cursed Wolf, Alaric.

This why-choose fantasy romance masterfully weaves together high-stakes tension and forbidden love. As the trio navigates the ancient, shifting dangers of the forest, the chemistry between them ignites under the light of the Crimson Moon. With its historical setting and multi-shift dynamics, the story explores the heavy cost of breaking generational chains and the raw power of refusing to belong to anyone but yourself.

Perfect for fans of A Court of Thorns and Roses and From Blood and Ash, this story is a must-read for anyone seeking a steamy, pulse-pounding paranormal romance. It is a world of dark magic and intense desire where fate is merely a suggestion and survival requires both heart and claw. Are you ready to enter the woods?

Wolves & 🌶️🌶️

May 6, 2026

🌶️🌶️.5/5 Its synopsis drew me in with its promise of steamy wolves and a why-choose fantasy romance. And when I started reading, I was even more captivated because the mysterious monster/wolf that lived in the woods. That part of the story reminded me of the movie called The Village. The world-building beautifully set the dark, fairytale feeling, but I felt like the character development, specifically the dynamics/relationships between Lena and the two MMCs, lacked a strong foundation. I...

If you're reading this, it's probably because you're wondering whether or not you should read this book... the answer is YES!!! You NEED this book in your life! I was on the edge of my seat, excited, emotional, and fully invested the entire way through! The parts that were fast-paced were gripping, and the parts that were slow were emotional and heartfelt. There were spicy scenes but it wasn't too heavy on the romance. It was a perfect balance of love and lust and beautiful storytelling, and...

Little Red RidingHood Retelling 🔥

May 7, 2026

Cursed by the Crimson Moon completely pulled me in with its dark fairytale atmosphere and emotional intensity. The story starts with a slow build, but once the mystery surrounding the curse begins to unfold, I couldn’t stop turning the pages. What I really enjoyed was the character and their dynamic together. Lena is trying to save her village from a long standing curse that has been destroying her village for decades. Calder is the bear friend and also loyal protector who will risk his life to...

A Grown Up Twist On A Classic Tale

May 8, 2026

“If a sacrifice is not offered, his wrath will not be contained.” A dark and spicy retelling of the classic fairytale, Little Red Riding Hood, Cursed by the Crimson Moon, was made for adults. It also gives off The Village vibes as well. The bones of the story are the same as LRR; we have a village and a young woman who ventures off into the forest to see her grandmother, and we hear the warnings of the big bad wolf. That’s where the similarities end. In this dark retelling, we have a village...

Cursed by the Crimson Moon

This book was so good! It definitely had that fairytale-esque vibe I was looking for. It was atmospheric and the LORE. I LOVE LORE. It was also a slow-burn. I live for the slowest of burns. I read the book in two sittings! I am so proud of our girl Lena here. She will do whatever it takes! Found family is also one of my favorite tropes, so it made me love it even more. All these characters' growth from the beginning to the end was great. I was glad the plot was plotting and there wasn't filler....
