It has been a while since I have read the Silver Wolf series but I was able to jump right back into the world. There is a nice overlap between the series, so I definitely recommend reading that one first. This book goes quickly. Everything happens really fast, which is expected when the book is fairly short. First off, this is a new trilogy set in a larger world - and apparently this was the second trilogy set in this larger universe.
