About this book

Dangerously close to becoming a vampire, Manolito De La Cruz has been called back to his Carpathian homeland—and has unexpectedly caught the scent of his destined lifemate, MaryAnn Delaney.

MaryAnn is human and well aware of the aggressive instincts of Carpathian males.

A counsellor for battered women, MaryAnn has no room in her life for someone like Manolito. But when she goes to South America to offer guidance to a young woman, she has no idea of the trap awaiting her. For she’s been lured there by Manolito, who has seductive plans for the irresistible human female.

Once there, she’ll be his. Once his, she’ll never be released. She is his dark possession.

Dark Possession- A Joyfully Recommended Title

Manolito De La Cruz is Carpathian. He has awakened in the rain forest surrounded by vampires and apparitions. He is in grave danger and senses his lifemate is near, but he doesn't know who she is. MaryAnn Delaney has come to the Del La Cruz home on the outskirts of the rain forest to counsel her friend Juliette's sister Jasmine. Jasmine is the victim of a sexual attack and MaryAnn is a counselor for battered women. She is finding it difficult to help anyone though because she herself is falling...

Exactly What I Hoped For

I really enjoyed this book. I have read some of the reviews for this book and have to say that I disagree on the negative assessments of Mary Ann. I found her so much more enjoyable then some of the other earlier heroines. She didn't come across as a complete know-it-all as some of the other heroines have, nor did she constantly put herself in danger. Yes, she does love her fashion to the point of near obsession and I can't personally relate on that front, but I can relate to having certain...

Loved the book from Beginning to its Sexy Ending

What I loved most about Feehan's writing style is her being very descriptive in her choice of wording. I could just imagine being among each descriptive location. Her scenic style is just off the charts. It is very obvious that she has travelled extensively. I could just picture myself within each descriptive location. She has such an extensive and descriptive style of writing...and oh so sexually descriptive. ) One person found this helpful

So I ordered it and I am glad I did, this is a very good read and introduces more supernatural beings. I must admit I hate the mages and that storyline. I was pleased to read a book with minimal mages, I am not to thrilled with the next book in the series tho. However, this one is definitely worth the time and...
