by I. T. Lucas

About this book

The stakes have never been higher for Syssi as she grapples with a truth that shatters her reality. When Kian finally reveals his true nature, the shock is eclipsed by a devastating ultimatum: either embrace a dangerous, immortal existence or face having her memories erased forever. Bound by the strict laws of his secretive kin, Kian must protect his family at all costs, even if it means losing the woman he has come to love.

This gripping installment in the Children of the Gods series masterfully blends high-stakes urban fantasy with an intense, slow-burn romance. As Syssi decides to live her remaining days to the fullest, the tension between them crackles with raw, palpable chemistry. It is a story where mortal fragility meets ancient power, forcing characters to confront the ultimate choice between safety and a love that defies the boundaries of time.

Perfect for fans of shifter lore and complex paranormal sagas, this narrative delivers a tightly written experience that keeps readers hooked from the very first page. With its realistic character dynamics and a world-building depth that spans an epic series, this is the addictive, high-tension escape you have been searching for. Dive into a world where immortality comes with a price.

OK. I had to write a follow-up review on this series. I have read through all of the books that are so far out (almost 100) and have started over again (and am already back up to book 70). By re-reading this series, you learn so much more about each character that you did not pick up the first time. There are so many wonderful characters to read about and the author gives you enough information about each one that you know them individually and become part of their family. This fiction story...

Review of books 1 to 3

February 7, 2017

I am reviewing all three books together as I feel this should have been one book. There are so many things wrong with this series but something about the story made me want to read all three. This was painfully awful and at the same time it wasn’t, there is so much potential in this series to make it great but as it stands it is unexceptional. This book DESPERATELY NEEDS some serious TLC in the editing department, and I’m not just speaking about the typos and grammar issues. Content wise the...
