⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 I have read every Carpathian book and always eagerly await the new one. These books have developed into a world of sensuality and danger that is mesmerizing. Dark Whisper is yet another heart-pounding adventure into the Carpathian world. Afansiv Belan, or “Siv,” is another sexy, dark, alpha male ancient that stole my heart. Siv was a fantastic character. I enjoyed this Dark Whisper story. My only problem was dealing with the switch up inside each action scene or scenes that threw me into confusion as to who, what, or how the subject changed inside the same paragraph. I had trouble following with out having to read a page or two back to grasp what just happened. It isn't very pleasant on my emergence into a mental flow to be jerked out of concentration and enjoyment to go back to clarify what caused the change. Sometimes, I kept reading forward...

Another great. Honestly books can’t come fast enough for me in this series. This book was nonstop action from the first chapter all the way to the end. And in this one we get to meet real Lycan royalty. Seriously amazing the gifts that they have. We have met Vasilisa in a previous book. And now we know more about her and the other half of a soul that has been passed down through the women of her family into her. And it is her that has met her Carpathian lifemate. Afanasiv is one of the ancients...
