I read hundreds of books a year and rarely stop to leave a review, but this one had me laughing out loud, grinning from ear to ear, and finally breathing after finishing Onyx Storm. I started this first book waiting for another to be released and I have read all 3 in 4 days. I could not stop reading the books are so captivating they move at a good pace and something is always happening. Even in slow moments they are captivating. These books need to be read togather they are cliff hangers but have made it to one of my top 2 or 3 series. The only part was the ending was good but not as good as the books as a whole. I finished this book within a few days and quickly was drawn into this story following Callie, the weakest wolf in her pack, unable to pack link and connect with or shift into her wolf. Callie is adopted and lived much of her life abused by her pack mates and the alpha, who I absolutely abhor. He is a hateful and cruel misogynist. I'm new to this genre having been drawn in by Insta reels. I never wanted to download the associated app. This is only my 2nd book and it was,a pages turned for me. Very easy reading.
