Dragon Prince: A Qurilixen World Novel (Qurilixen Lords Book 1)

by Michelle M. Pillow

About this book

Prince Grier is the heir to the dragon-shifter throne, but his royal status feels more like a cage than a crown. With his land teetering on the brink of political collapse and ruthless factions threatening the humans trapped within his territory, he is desperate to intervene. Forced proximity to a brewing war makes duty his top priority, until a twist of fate brings him face-to-face with his destined mate.

Salena is a fugitive, a woman who has spent her life as a pawn for the Federation. Kidnapped and dropped into a perilous, alien landscape, she is determined to survive on her own terms. She has no interest in being a royal consort, especially not to a fierce, possessive dragon prince who claims their bond is written by the gods. Yet, the heat between them is undeniable, sparking a dark romance that threatens to consume them both.

If you are looking for your next addictive paranormal romance, this story delivers the perfect blend of high-stakes fantasy and sizzling chemistry. Michelle M. Pillow weaves a captivating tale where ancient tradition clashes with modern rebellion. Will Grier sacrifice his kingdom for his mate, or will their fated love ignite a war that destroys everything?

Reader Reviews

Excellent, captivating, recommended.

Wow! Just wow! What a great start to a new generation of shifters from Qurilixen. Can't recommend this highly enough. The children of the original Draig and Var Princes have grown up, and much has changed on their remote planet since their fathers were searching for brides. The generous nature of the Qurilixen people has seen them accept some temporary Federation refugees, thirty years ago, and as a consequence, the Federation has been trying to extend its slender foothold on Qurilixen soil...

Intreging beginning

March 10, 2022

This is a series with an intreging beginning. The plot is good but unfortunately this book did not resolve anything. There are many problems still to fix. The characters are likeable and the secondary characters are likeable as well. There is action, strong emotions and even confusion. Good read. )

The Qurilixen World Is Back

So pleased to read the start of another generation of Qurilixen dragon shifters. This author has me hooked on her stories and this one does not disappoint. In this generation, Grier is up for king and is watching the Federation closely as they are trying to get a bigger foothold on this planet and he is all for stopping them. Politics are a problem and the annual mating festival is coming up which he is avoiding, but when his crystal lights up he must find his mate as well. Salena is hiding and...

Great read

September 3, 2022

Prince Grier couldn’t get his parents or the Draig elders to listen (dragon shifters) on Quirilixen. Their world wasn’t just made up of herders and farmers and protecting their ore from aliens or from the Var (cat shifters). His father, King Ualan, and the Var King Kirill had agreed 30 years ago to allow the Shelter City to be there for the people who were ill as a stop-over. Now they (offworlders) we’re claiming squatters rights and causing problems all these years later. The royal family is a...

The Dragon Prince was surprised when his mating stone glowed indicating that he has found his wife to be. She was just looking for a way off the planet. He has quite the adventure in store for himself trying to convince his wife that she is meant to be his forever. A delightful romantic love tale. )
