I was hooked from the first page. I’ve only read a couple omegaverse books but they have all been very interesting reads. Grace appears in a parallel universe where she ends up finding her “lost” first love, and his pack. I should note that I received both an ARC (advanced reader copy) and purchased the book as well because I do like the way she writes. Her books typically are a lot longer with fleshed out characters and I appreciate that because, many OV or why-choose/RH typically go MEET, BANG, BOND. The downside is that sometimes scenes feel like they're drawn out longer than they need to be, or there's extraneous stuff within the book that sort of pads the pages without adding too much to the story or...

This was one of my most favorite books to read. This is such an intense mysterious story. Grace goes through a great ordeal, right from the start.
