Fated by Starlight: Supernatural Institute, Book 1

by Krista Street

About this book

Avery is a half-witch, quarter-werewolf who has spent her life feeling like a magical disappointment. Expecting a mundane career as an ambassador, she is forced into three months of grueling Supernatural Forces training. Her plans are immediately derailed by her new squad commander, Wyatt Jamison. He is a pureblooded wolf-shifter, an elite warrior, and the very boy who broke her heart eight years ago. Now, he is the only person standing between her and a dangerous, newfound power.

This addictive paranormal romance masterfully blends the classic academy trope with high-stakes shifter drama. As a rare celestial event awakens a volatile magic within Avery that threatens to consume her, the dynamic between her and Wyatt shifts from professional tension to a desperate, fated alliance. They must navigate the treacherous halls of the institute while fighting the undeniable chemistry that has simmered between them for nearly a decade.

If you love slow-burn tension, forced proximity, and supernatural mysteries, this series opener is your next must-read. Krista Street delivers an immersive world where duty clashes with destiny, ensuring that every chapter is packed with action and sizzling anticipation. Dive into the Supernatural Institute and discover if Avery can master her lethal fate before it destroys everything she holds dear.

Lots of Potential, but . . .

October 4, 2024

The main characters are likeable, but the chemistry seems forced or its character development- it doesn't flow well. Unlike past characters, Wyatt seems really immature and so is Avery. Not sure if there are different authors collaborating on this story??? I skip a lot because it is way too wordy! I will give the 2nd book a try, but if its like this one, I won't finish the series. ) 3 people found this helpful
