I stumbled upon this series while looking for werewolf romances and I’m so glad I did. I truly love it. It doesn’t have cheesy werewolf romance themes. And of course, I love the fierce alpha male characters. There is good action, great tension in this one, and lots of plot. Gael and Leigh have great chemistry on the page and you don’t have to wait until 50% in to get into some good romance scenes. I read straight through - couldn’t put it down. I cannot wait for the last book of this series but...

I really love this series, I can't wait for the next one! That said, I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first 2, as there was soooo much internal conflict between the 2 main characters. They were kinda at each other's throats the whole first half of the book, and Leigh was really a childish witch to Gael and completely unreasonable. The author April Moon, has yet again written a wonderful book. I love the characters in this series. The storyline is well written. When an author can pull me into the book and make me cry, I know it’s truly amazing. You’ll have to read the book to find out if they were happy tears or sad tears. )

This was a connector book. For a pregnancy, omegas, royalty, coups, etc, this book just felt like a bridge from what happened before to what will happen after. It got quite boring and drawn out in the end. The biggest problem I have with this series is the inconsistencies. It feels like the author is just making stuff up as she goes along instead of having the world building all planned out. Gael’s family and his familial obligations are brought up but not resolved.
