This is one of the most difficult reviews I've ever had to write because this is a series I have loved so dearly and this installment has been the one I most anticipated. Siya is a character I relate to so deeply. She is an Indian woman living in the USA, far from family. Her best friend, half shifter Demi is the closest thing she has to family. I have loved the Forbidden series and watching the world grow and expand has been amazing. But all good things must come to an end. And what an end this was! It was steamy and sweet and sexy and action-packed and everything ice come to expect from these ladies and this world. The chemistry between Siya and Ram was incredible, as was the chemistry between Chase, Ranulf, and Raven. The storylines were wrapped up and we got a satisfying conclusion. I'm sad to see it come to an end, but I'm excited...

I just couldn't do 5 stars. The lack of communication between each romantic grouping and the 3 sentence tie up of all loose ends was just too ridiculous. I'm happy about who ended up with whom, but this was not a good way to end an enjoyable series. The character development in each book was flat and dialog frequently stilted. )

Forbidden Hunger is book 8 and the final book of the Forbidden series. It wrapped everything up but still left more wanting more. There's so much more that could be done with the characters. This series has been a favorite from the beginning. It's a shame there won't be more books in the series. Hopefully one day the authors will turn to what they do best and write more paranormal stuff. Always hate to see someone move away from the thing that made their name known. Wish them the best though. )

This is Siya and Ram’s story as well as Raven, Ranulf and Chase’s story. It also has the conclusion to the human/shapeshifter trafficking ring. I wish there was more background story to Ranulf, Chase and Ram. I like Raven’s character. She is very strong. I’m not too thrilled with Siya’s decision but her connection to Emery drives the story. The story is full of action and excitement. )
