This is the best book I’ve read in a year. Great character and story building and, while somewhat predictable, also surprising at times. Adding one or two more characters in the early middle stages would’ve opened it up more instead of just the FMC and MMC for a large portion, but not a big deal imo. I always love a good gods mythology retelling and I am drawn to the Hades/Persephone retellings and this definitely did not disappoint.
