I like guardians and this one I was not expecting. A princess, who is human and a Chimera? Interesting, to say the least. Danger comes while on a mission to help villagers in Peru. Princess finds her purpose and the person who shares her light. I loved it! )

I enjoyed the characters very much. A strong woman and a good soul who protects her. The reason I only gave 3 stars is the descriptions of everything. Most of it was fine but I got bored and skimmed those pages until I could get to dialog so the story moved forward. There was sex but it was disappointing. Everything else had been explained why not the sex scenes? I will read the next in the series because these books are different and I want to give them a chance. I liked the cover it was very...

This is the start of something special. Starting out with acceptance is hard. We need to start from somewhere and even though humanity is cruel there are some whom are kind. In the end it is a special kind of bond to stick it out and to see where it goes from here when it is difficult in the first place. )

Not exactly a slow burn for love but for the story overall. This story had a more ethereal quality for its genre and was a pleasant read overall. )

The storyline had potential, but was hard to fallow. The story didn't make sense and would change randomly.. little things as simple as he was 9 foot tall... then the next he is 8 feet ... to they had jeeps that switched to horses ... then back to jeeps... Then whole plots would change like... they would be safe and driving away then all of a sudden there split up they never got to the jeeps or horses or whatever and people were abandoned.. it didn't make sense. Love the idea of the book. But...
