Heartsong: Green Creek Series, Book 3

by T. J. Klune

About this book

Robbie Fontaine has spent his entire life searching for a place to call home. As a shifter who has drifted between packs to stave off the darkness of going feral, he finally finds stability under the watchful eye of the powerful Alpha Michelle Hughes. Surrounded by a found-family that values his loyalty, Robbie believes he has finally escaped his past. However, a dangerous assignment forces him to confront the complexities of pack dynamics and the unsettling rumors surrounding those he once trusted.

The mission takes a turn when Robbie discovers that the supposed traitors he is tracking include Kelly Bennett, the man who may be his fated mate. As the lines between loyalty and betrayal blur, Robbie is thrust into a high-stakes game of wild magic and shifting alliances. He must decide whether to follow the orders of his pack or listen to the desperate pull of his own heart, even if the truth threatens to destroy everything he holds dear.

Blending intense paranormal romance with raw emotional stakes, this installment of the Green Creek series is a gut-wrenching exploration of belonging. If you crave stories defined by deep supernatural bonds and characters who would burn the world down for their loved ones, prepare to be shattered in the best way possible.

Oh Robbie, dear sweet Robbie. This book was yet another fantastic installment in the Green Creek Series. I looooved getting a new perspective on the Bennett pack in this book. The first two follow Ox and Gordo, but they have been with the Bennett pack since they were children; it was nice to have a perspective on them that wasn't developed in childhood. Robbie's story is absolutely heartbreaking. Finding out his background and what happened to him to make him the Solitary Wolf. And no spoilers,...

A brilliant, gut wrenching triumph!

This is a somewhat long review lol. So it starts with an Honest and kind of book snobby moment so please forgive me! A year ago, my best friend told me he was reading these “gay werewolf” books and loving them. Based on some of his previous book selections I cringed and rolled my eyes cause what I had in my head was some sort of trashy twilight rip off or bad fan fiction/wolf porn. He encourage me to read them, but I declined. Fast forward to early this year and I got an ARC of “The house in...

So I read the first two books in this series many many years ago, and for whatever reasons never got to the third and fourth books. I think it was because I wasn’t as invested in learning Kelly and Robbie‘s story. But I’m glad I’m reading it now. It was a lovely story. Sweet and terrible and sad. The Bennett pack is just so much fun, even with all the terrible horrible things that happened to them TJ Klune gives this wolf pack lovely wonderful moments of family, happiness and humor. I’m so glad...
