Holly's Grizzly (Monster Relations Bureau Book 4)

by Leigh Miller

About this book

Seeking solitude after a devastating breakup, Holly heads into the mountains for a winter backpacking trip meant to mend her fractured spirit. Instead, she finds herself fighting for survival when a trail accident leaves her stranded in a brutal blizzard. Just as the cold begins to claim her, she is rescued by a massive, terrifying grizzly, only to watch in disbelief as the beast shifts into a rugged, protective man.

Irving is the ultimate cinnamon roll shifter, offering Holly sanctuary in his remote cabin until the storm subsides. What begins as a desperate search for warmth quickly evolves into a smoldering, forced-proximity romance. As the fire crackles and the snow piles high, the two find solace in each other’s arms, navigating the delicate balance of pack dynamics and newfound desire.

For fans of paranormal romance, this story is a cozy, spicy embrace. Leigh Miller expertly weaves themes of healing and self-discovery into a high-stakes setting, proving that sometimes the best way to find yourself is to get lost with a shifter. With the looming reality of Seattle waiting on the other side of the blizzard, Holly must decide if she is brave enough to trust her heart once more.

Human Woman, Grizzly Shifter, and a Blizzard

This really good! I liked this one! Holly is very sweet who struggles with the loss of her boyfriend, when really she is trying to find her place/center. Then she runs into Irving, who is sweetness and compassion personified. I love their get together and how (while not \"good\" per say) quickly they communicate with one another. Also, that night together for them was easily one of my favorites! )

Perfect cozy vibes

I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a Scrooge when it comes to the holidays, but I cannot resist a cinnamon roll MMC—and this novella delivered everything I needed. Our heroine, Holly, is on a journey of healing and self-discovery when she finds herself in need of a rescue. Enter Irving: a bear shifter, carpenter, certified mountain man, and all-around perfect cinnamon roll. Their story unfolds in a deliciously cozy, sweet, and fast-burn romance that had me hooked. Despite the novella’s short length, I...

Cute, but predictable

Holly is on an adventure to find herself and Irving saves her in the woods. He's a cinnamon roll and it's the holidays so the book is sweet. Probably my least favorite in the series because it's a bit boring. This one also REALLY falls prey to the romance trope of everything could be solved 1/4 through the book if they'd just talk to each other. )

Good lord it's hot in here

All of Leigh Miller's books are amazing but this sweet, short romp in the woods is particularly delightful. Grab some hot cocoa and be prepared to invest in flannel afterwards. )

Cozy, Cuddly, and Happy

This was such a cute quick read. Irving is the walking definition of a green flag, and I love everything about his warm, caring, and highly observational personality. Watching the two play cat and mouse with their feelings as they kept getting deeper and deeper into the thick of it with each other was entertaining, especially since their feelings seemed so obvious to everyone else but themselves. I’m so glad Holly is finally happy, and loved the happy ending that this holiday novella gave. )
