Soon into this story I was hoping for a second book. The species quickly become as normal as a human. In fact, my brain simply skipped over species. It became a story, sometimes a love story, other times a sense story. The most important thing about the book is it's a great read! And I really hope there are more. )

Mikhail was a mantacore, a creature of immortality. To atone for his life, he opened a hospital for immortal creatures. The Oracle told him to help someone , a mortal. He didn't know why, but he followed her directions. The only thing was he lost his heart. )

I like the idea of a hospital for immortal creatures but the author took too much time outlining the story and then rushed the end with no reason for it--- the 'villain ' was explained with no clues earlier as to who it was. I don't love how she writes and won't read more from her )
