Into the Night: A Monster Romance (The Devil's Claw, Book 2)

by Reece Barden

About this book

Kali thought she had escaped the shadows of her past, but when she vanishes without a trace, the truth becomes impossible to ignore. She isn't just lost; she has been claimed. The only person who knows her whereabouts is the very man she swore to leave behind forever, a man whose primal intensity is matched only by the dangerous secrets he keeps.

This gripping installment of The Devil’s Claw series plunges readers back into a world of lycan beasts and shifting loyalties. As a dark monster romance, the narrative thrives on the volatile chemistry of an enemies-to-lovers dynamic and the agonizing tension of a second-chance pairing. You will be drawn into a town fractured by mysterious disappearances, where the line between protector and predator blurs with every page turn.

Experience a high-stakes game of rejected mates and untamed desire that pushes the boundaries of the shifter genre. With dual POV storytelling that cranks up the heat and explores the raw, primal nature of these wolves, this is a must-read for anyone craving a paranormal romance with genuine bite. Dive into a story where the mystery of the beasts is just as captivating as the explosive passion binding the protagonists together.

Love Into the Night!!

I love a series that grows in intensity as the books go along and this one did just that. The characters and the town are trying to make sense of disappearing residents and keep everyone else calm. I’m definitely going into the third book as there’s still so much to learn about what’s going on. )

Timeline is off in the middle…

Loved book 1 and was excited for book 2. Overall the storyline was great, loved Griffin not knowing he was a beast and the mystery of his blackouts. I’m still curious about John’s disappearance and hoping we get more clues about that and the map locations/caves in the next book. There were 1-2 moments it seemed like they described the monster shifted more as a wolf on all 4s which was odd because I thought they were always upright similar to Lycan and always referred to generally as beasts from...

Great story. The only issue...I wanted more. I feel like this story ended just just the characters were truly developed. I would like to have seen an epilogue. Maybe they appear and the next story. You won't regret reading this one. ) One person found this helpful
