Into the Woods: A Werewolf Romance (Hellhound Series)

by Isabel Wolf

About this book

Elizabeth Zemerlöw moved to the Canadian wilderness seeking a fresh start, far away from the haunting bedtime stories her mother once whispered. She grew up dismissing tales of red-eyed beasts that stalked the night in search of their fated mates, viewing them as nothing more than dark folklore meant to frighten children. But when a terrifying encounter with a massive, prowling creature leaves her life hanging in the balance, the lines between myth and reality begin to blur.

Everything changes when she meets Henry, a man whose devilish charm is as undeniable as the dangerous secret he carries. As Elizabeth is pulled into a hidden world of shifters and soul-bound hunters, she must confront the possibility that the legends are true. Caught in a whirlwind of primal instinct and unexpected desire, she finds herself irrevocably drawn to the very monster she should fear most.

Perfect for fans of paranormal romance, this gripping shifter tale delivers a high-stakes journey filled with heart-pounding twists and intense chemistry. If you crave stories defined by the fated mates trope and dark, atmospheric suspense, this opening installment of the Hellhound Series will keep you turning pages long into the night.

Interesting book, many twists and turns in this story. I'm looking forward to the next book #2 in the series. )

Booked as soon as I started it, didn't put the book down, pleasseee let their be a number 2 😁 )

This book reads very disjointed which doesn't help the complicated story especially towards the end. There is virtually no back story to the characters to set them against. I have ended the book with mkore questions than answers. Is Jack a hell hound? What are all the scars over Henry's body? These are referenced multiple times but never explained. What is the story with Noah?? The story starts things but doesn't finish them. Monica corners Elizabeth in the bathroom and there is a physical...

The storyline is what kept me reading. The plot is good although you can guess can early on the the villains in the book. The writing is fine although I cannot tell you how many times the word 'latter' was used. I got to the point I cringed each time I saw it. It's worth a read though. )
