King Cobra (Naga Brides)

by Naomi Lucas

About this book

Daisy is a woman out of her depth, thrust into a dangerous alien world where she is the ultimate prize. When a powerful naga male sets his sights on her, he does not just want a mate; he wants a queen. Consumed by a possessive, primal need to protect her from the terrors of his realm, he vows to replace her tears with devotion. However, claiming his bride is far from simple, as he must navigate her desperate need for freedom against his ironclad intent to keep her securely within his gilded nest.

This gripping installment in the Bride Hunting Aliens series leans heavily into the dark, addictive allure of paranormal shifter romance. It masterfully utilizes the fated mates and forced proximity tropes, creating a high-stakes tension where every interaction is charged with lethal possessiveness. The naga male is a complex predator, balancing the charm of a devil with a terrifying willingness to eliminate any rival who dares to look at his woman.

Whether you crave intense, spicy chemistry or a story defined by obsessive devotion, this tale delivers a seductive journey. While readers remain divided on the heroine’s vulnerability, her relatable fear adds a grounded layer to this otherworldly romance. If you are looking for a dark, supernatural page-turner where the hero will burn the world down to keep his bride, look no further.

Actually like the MFC

June 9, 2024

I find the MFC is either \"flighty\", or \"too Xena warrior princessy\". But this one was adorable, and believable. I enjoyed this one more then the first one! The spicy scenes are fabulous, and the background plot is fascinating, i find by the end of the book i'm more interested to see what happens to the plot then the characters involved. I dont normally think that way when i read this type of book. Very well written in my mind. )

meh

I liked this first book, but I'm not really feeling the second one. The MFC is really irritating and whiny. I feel like the MFC's in both books need more work; I swear I rolled my eyes a few times in the first book. This book almost has me tossing it to my DNF list. Daisy is working my nerves with all her crying and whining. I hope it gets better; I'm halfway finished with it. )

I wanted to- but I cant stand these weak Female Leads

I tried. I read the first book and TRIED to give it the benefit of the doubt hoping the story would get better but....NO. This ML is no where near as likable as the previous book's Viper guy. In fact this ones comes across as VERY arrogant and rapy. And our FL this time around is even more of an insufferable wimp! She tries, I'll give her that. But its the thought process and lack on conviction with these women that just has me rolling my eyes and tossing this book aside. I did not finish this...

Can't wait to read
