When I tell you I jump when this author has a new read available I mean I could theoretically compete with the vertical of an NBA player or an Olympic pole vaulter, only theoretically of course, I'm not Abe's size, after all. 😂 Oh my whole heart 😭 This was amazing. This story was sweet, in a slow burn, he runs from fate kind of way. The plot was cute, and I appreciated Poppy's care for what her article could do. I don't regret the read, but it's not something I will seek out or likely recommend. What kept this from being a solid 4 star read came with the writing and editing primarily. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This was such a sweet cozy read! I enjoyed that it wasn’t an insta love story (nothing wrong with those) because sometimes I miss the sweet little moments of falling in love. This book had lots of those sweet moments and I really enjoyed reading it! )
