I couldn’t wait to read this after the ending of book 4. I wanted to know why the betrayal and lies. We did get why certain mates betrayed Gwen but it just felt like it could be more. I mean I’m excited for bk 5 because I like these characters I just felt it could have ended in this book. I didn’t understand was Hollis was horrible to been and yet he is quickly forgiven. Okay, I have so many feelings about this series, it’s almost embarrassing. 🫣 Like the kind where you want to throw the book, hug it, and scream “you could’ve been amazing!” all at once.
