I have been waiting for this book for so long. The main characters from all the other books are back (Meryn is my book hero). I love how Alder kept the series going further while still introducing new characters that makes the series feel current and not stale which can often happen with series that have this many books. So where do you begin to review this book. At the start is when it all begun and for that you need to know Meryn. Everything we learn is about each mating and how Meryn fits into a puzzle that with this book just made some things so clear - and then makes you want the next book.
