Claire just needed a paycheck to cover her grandmother’s mounting medical bills, but landing a job as a nanny for billionaire CEO Roman Drakos brings far more than she bargained for. Roman is a lethal combination of sharp suits and untamed power, leading a secret double life as a Supreme Alpha. Their arrangement is strictly professional until the air between them ignites with an undeniable, primal tension that proves Roman has no intention of keeping things business-only.
This gripping shifter romance perfectly blends the beloved single-dad and nanny tropes with the high-stakes intensity of fated mates. As Claire struggles to maintain her composure around her grumpy boss, she finds herself drawn into a dangerous world where forbidden love is the ultimate risk. With a young daughter already claiming her as a mother and a vengeful rival lurking in the shadows, Claire must decide if she is ready to embrace a life among the wolves.
If you are hunting for your next addictive paranormal romance, this story delivers a steamy, heart-pounding experience. It is a fairy-tale-inspired journey filled with raw animal hunger and emotional stakes that will keep you turning pages long into the night.

I have been wanting to try a shifter romance and came across an ad for this book on social media. Since it contained one of my favorite tropes, single dad/nanny, I decided to give it a try. Claire is a plus sized nanny who desperately needs a job to pay for heart surgery her beloved grandma needs. Her friend’s father helps get her a job as nanny to June, the daughter of billionaire Roman, who is secretly an alpha werewolf. From their first meeting sparks fly for Claire but Roman’s wolf senses...

Not bad, not great. The storyline was well thought out and well executed. The characters were as well. It could have been an awesome book. My issue is the editing. Please, for the love of grammer; find a new editor. The errors are one thing, but the missing pieces make me nuts. Before you publish your books, please read them through. This will solve 99% of the problems. A good editor would have caught all of this. ) One person found this helpful

I always enjoy discovering (for me) a new author! This was a very entertaining story! I am glad that I tried it. The story was solid, the characters great including little June-bug, the grammar perfect. I love it when all these elements come together. I even got a little misty-eyed a couple of times. And when done, I signed up for the author's newsletter and bought another book. So, my weekend is set. I highly recommend this story. )

Let me start by saying that this will give you the payoffs you expect, so if you're looking for a fairly light-hearted read with all the classic tropes, you'll be fulfilled. If you're like me, however, you might start to get annoyed fairly quickly. Once the supernatural is revealed to the FMC, she veers toward Mary-Sue Land. That, combined with the rushed plot that could have ended around 80% (but wait! We have to include ALL the things) grates. Then there's the (seeming lack of) editing....
