The only problem, he doesn’t know she exists beyond being a personal assistant. Malachite's main goal in life it to be the number one company in Draconis. But now his mother is forcing a mating with the empress that intends to destroy his business....

Fun, light, creative story. I liked the premise of the story, intern gets noticed by boss dragon, our of necessity they have to her together. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 was because by just felt the characters didn't have much depth to them, they seemed shallow. Yes, they had inner dialogue, but it just didn't go below surface reasoning. And if these dragons have been in Earth for quite some time niw, seems as though they should have a better understanding of how humans process/operate?...

This book had me laughing so hard my sides ached. Mal and Cheryl are the absolute best couple ever, even though they are complete opposites. A dragon marries a human. Problem is he knows nothing about how a human female thinks or feels and they off to a turbulent start. Mal is seriously funny as he has no understanding of colloquialism and takes everything literally, like stop, or I’ll bite your head off. I so enjoyed their story, a page turner from beginning to end. I loved all the characters...

Spoilers The h is a college senior art intern working at the H’s family clothing business. The h is a human and the H is a dragon. They know of each other’s human/dragon disposition. The H has to marry via orders from his mother. He also does not want to be part of an arranged marriage with the female dragon his mother had chosen for him. He picks the h to marry after he consults with his brother as to how to find a mate. She marries him. They encounter some obstacles to a HEA but do get one....
