Protecting His Own: MM Shifter Romance (Guardians Of The Pack)

by Aja Foxx

About this book

Jackson thought moving to his aunt’s remote ranch would be his fresh start, but inheriting the property after her sudden death leaves him overwhelmed and vulnerable. His quiet life is upended when Ze’ev, a rugged and mysterious dire wolf shifter, decides to move in uninvited. While Jackson is initially wary of the man’s bold behavior, he cannot deny the intense, magnetic pull drawing him toward his new, unexpected housemate.

Ze’ev is a man on the run from his own rigid past. As a rogue dire wolf who rejected the suffocating laws of his pack, he has no interest in settling down until he catches the intoxicating scent of a human who changes everything. Eager to uncover why Jackson smells like destiny, Ze’ev makes himself at home, quickly shifting from an unwanted guest into a fiercely protective guardian.

Their budding romance is put to the ultimate test when danger from Jackson’s past comes knocking at the door. This steamy MM shifter romance masterfully weaves together second-chance themes with the warmth of found-family dynamics. To save the man he loves, Ze’ev must embrace his nature and forge a new pack. It is a thrilling, heart-pounding journey where loyalty, desire, and survival collide under the moonlight.

Love it!!!

I loved the whole book. It told a whole story with even the human who has been walked all over getting his backbone once he received true love. I would recommend this book to anyone over 18 and you do not have to be gay to enjoy this book. I am writing this review because I keep checking for book 2 in this series and today I noticed that it only had 1 review and it was 4 stars. I had not given a review before, but I had given 5 stars, so I decided to give a review so more people would read it...

This is the first book in the series and it was easy to get in to the story and root for Jackson. And when Ze'ev shows up as a strange kind if knight in shining armour I immediately liked them together. Loved that we got to see just enough of Ze'evs friends to keep me wanting more for them and I loved the small pack that they start together. The book had action, fated mates, wolf shifters and bad guys on both the human and the wolf side. I will definitely pick up the next book to see what...

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and all of the wonderful supporting characters. Jackson was such a sweetheart and Ze'ev was a strong and loving alpha dire wolf. I also loved the duck that was mentioned ever since Jackson had inherited his aunt's ranch (so cute). I didn't like how Jackson kept getting hurt, but the plot was quite captivating. I loved the ending to this great read, and I'm looking forward to much more. ) One person found this helpful

Not sure how I feel 🤔

The story idea was great, it was what made me want to read it obviously. But it felt rushed, segmented, and without depth. Almost like the author wrote some, left and then came back after a long time. The rushed thing was odd and made everything get mashed together so quickly that it made a it feel like things were forgotten. It didn't help that suff was rehashed and breezed over a lot. But the depth of the story!? It could have been so good! There was not a lot of back story to the main...

I can't believe it took me so long to read this. Well I know why I kept putting it off. But..... It was an unexpectedly sweet and sexy shifter story. The sex was done very well and it was hot. In my opinion u can never go wrong with to many sexy times. The story was written well and I thought it was great👍! Oh I also loved all the characters as well. I would really like for the rest of this series to be written! I hope the author hasn't forgot about them. Can't wait! )
