This set of books was right up my alley. Post apocalyptic with a few chosen survivors in an unrecognizable world. The world returning to the magic of nature and finding there truly is magic in the world. Just the right amount of angst and spice. )

The first 2 books were 5 stars. The novella needed more, but was fine. Jasper? Ew. Im not even sure if I want to continue with the vampires. Jasper was hurt, yes. But he was unlikeable before that. Making him a coward that ran and hid over every little thing did not improve his character. So 4 stars overall, because of Rush and Thorne. )

This a a great deal for three season of the wolf stories plus a super cute novella. Season of the wolf starts the fae guardians stories. While each story can be stand alone, having all three stories stories together is perfect to binge and will get you hooked on all of the author’s work. Each story focuses on one main couple with one male wolf shifter and one woman who has woken up after being essentially flash frozen in ice after a nuclear winter that happened in what we consider modern times....

I really love this series. This series is the most unique take on post-apocalypse fantasy that I've ever read. I love the world building and the backstory, and the best part of these books is how they build upon one another. Each is technically a standalone story (each couple gets a book), but they build and grow the overarching story and the world just gets richer and richer with each book )

If you have not yet read the season of the wolves for the Fae guardian series stop what you are doing and get to it!! It is an amazing world that Lana has created and I absolutely loved each book. It has everything I love in a romance: adventure, magic, awesome plot, spice and a great lead couple. So I really recommend this series. ) One person found this helpful
