Mash Cassidy has spent fifteen years sprinting away from his pack responsibilities, but his Alpha’s demand for a Harvest Fest homecoming is impossible to ignore. Tasked with finding a suitable mate, the notorious ladies' man hatches a desperate, harebrained scheme to save his bachelorhood: recruit his best friend, Cian, to pose as his fake-mate. It is a foolproof plan, provided Mash can ignore the inconvenient, growing feelings he has for the one person he should never touch.
For Cian Barker, the tech-savvy hipster, this charade is a special brand of torture. He has been hopelessly in love with Mash since university, long ago resigning himself to the role of the supportive best friend. Agreeing to play the doting partner feels like a step too far, yet when faced with those signature puppy-dog eyes, his resolve crumbles. He has spent years pretending they are just friends, but surviving the scrutiny of a royal pack dynamic might just force them to face the truth.
Packed with laugh-out-loud humor and a delightful, unglamorous take on shifter life, this MM paranormal romance is a masterclass in slow-burn tension. Readers will fall for this found-family gem that perfectly balances tender longing with hilarious, high-stakes antics. If you are looking for your next obsession, this is the ultimate cozy, swoon-worthy escape.

\"I was obsessed with him. But I could only stand beside him and watch as he threw himself at everyone but me.\" \"Well, honestly, from the moment I met you, I knew there was something different about you. I couldn't put my finger on what, but you smelled...you smelled somehow like...mine.\" This was such a sweet, hilarious, all good feel book. This was a slow burn with some good kinks 🔥🔥. I loved the banter and interactions between all characters in this book omg. I was laughing so hard...

This is an adorable, low(ish)-angst, super funny book about two loveable fools in love. I don’t know why I haven’t read Jenna Croft before (although it looks like I have - I absolutely loved Rookie Recovery) but Croft is a new favorite in MM for me now. Croft makes her own rules in this PNR book (book 2 in a series) and they all work. I laughed, I squirmed, I gasped. It’s all so damn cute and fun. Highly recommended if you like paranormal romance, spice and things that make you say “oh that’s...

Her books are just so, so funny. I found myself highlighting mote passages in this book than I ever have in the past. The longing and silliness and just straight up laughing out loud while reading this made me so saf when it was over. I LOVE how she doesnt sugarcoat over embarassing moments between characters in steamy scenes; the romance just feels so much more genuine and healthy. Also her portrayal of Mash's werewolf traits and habits were hilarious, and unique to a lot of other werewolf...

Holy macaroni! This popped up on my KU Home Screen and I was stuck in a book slump. I decided to give it a shot. At the beginning where it said Note, I read it all and fully thought I wouldn’t like this book too much. I mean, I’ve never read anything like it, so I genuinely went it blind. This was one of the best books ever. I laughed, cried, smiled so hard my cheeks hurt, and worried when the characters worried. I even broke one of my main reading rules. I usually don’t read a book over 350...

I had a really good time with this book. The chapter names had me rolling, it was all very funny. Mash is the biggest golden retriever sunshine to ever exist. Happy and unapologetically weird. Cian is a computer nerd but hot with tattoos and the perfect balance for Mash. It has unrequited love because it’s my fave trope but also friends to lovers and found family, and a lot of discussions of Cian foreskin 🙃 all in good fun. I think it was longer than necessary but the story was well thought...
