Micah thought he knew the boundaries of his world, but a chance encounter in a forest humming with ancient magic shatters his reality. He finds himself irresistibly drawn to a man who is as composed as he is lethal, setting off a chain reaction that pulls him into a web of dark fantasy and high-stakes danger. This is not just a chance meeting; it is the beginning of a descent into a realm where desire is a death sentence.
At the heart of this gripping MMM romance lies a cursed prince, a man whose very touch carries the weight of a ruinous fate. As their connection deepens, Micah discovers that their forbidden love is being hunted by something unseen and patient. The stakes climb higher as he realizes the palace intrigue surrounding his lover is built on layers of betrayal that threaten to consume them both.
With vivid worldbuilding that shifts from tranquil, mystical beginnings to a harrowing, high-tension nightmare, this tale masterfully blends shifter elements with royal drama. For those craving a paranormal romance where the characters are as lively as the stakes are deadly, this story offers an unforgettable, visceral ride that proves love often demands the ultimate sacrifice.

The writing style was beautiful, and felt very intimate at times. The story builds up kind of slowly and has a lot of politics, which I didn't mind, (first book in a series and world building and all) because the author still managed to make it gripping, interesting and even funny and charming. Psychologically, it was especially fascinating for...
