To Kill a Badger: The Honey Badger Chronicles, Book 6

by Shelly Laurenston

About this book

Nelle Zhao is a honey badger shifter who thrives on chaos, solitude, and the occasional act of extreme violence. She is perfectly content minding her own business until her loyalties are tested by the Malone brothers, a trio of gorgeous tiger shifters who are as stubborn as they are lethal. When the brooding Keane Malone decides to take on a dangerous human trafficking ring alone, he quickly learns that keeping a fierce, shit-starting honey badger at arm's length is an impossible task.

This sixth installment of the Honey Badger Chronicles is a wild, adrenaline-fueled ride that perfectly balances high-stakes action with laugh-out-loud humor. As a standout in the paranormal romance genre, Shelley Laurenston masterfully weaves together complex world-building and intense, multi-shift dynamics. The chemistry between Nelle and Keane crackles with tension, proving that even the most reluctant loners can find their match when the fight gets personal and the stakes turn deadly.

If you are looking for a story that feels like an international action flick spliced with razor-sharp wit and paranormal heat, this is your next obsession. Laurenston delivers a chaotic, gory, and deeply romantic masterpiece that reminds us all of one golden rule: never, under any circumstances, mess with a honey badger.

Always A Good Read

Shelley Laurenston always tells a great story! Honestly, the world she has built of shifters is some of the best world building I have read in a long time. I love the way the books intertwine with repeat characters and bloodlines. This book in particular includes the humor, action, adventure, and scheming you would expect from Apex predators that are also human. ) One person found this helpful

Fantastic addition to the series!

This was a fantastic tornado of a book! It's like a mashup of Monty Python on meth and a mobbed-up, gory international action flick, with a paranormal sports romance as the cherry on top. I loved the strong and totally insane female characters and their various relationships, and the wildly inventive plot twists. The author has a special talent for infusing her different shifter species with the personalities and temperament of their corresponding animals, more so than any other PNR author I've...

Do Not Mess With a Honey Badger

I can always be guaranteed a great read with a Shelly Laurenston book. The humor is hilarious and her writing is vivid and imaginative. When will shifters and full-humans learn to not piss off a honey badger. Those older honey badger and the younger are serious bad asses. No one, absolutely no one can take them on and think they will come out alive or seriously injured. Nelle was perfect for Keane, their personalities are different, but they just get each other. Keane has been so serious and...

Any potential spoilers in here are deliberately vague and \"inside\" so you should be safe! First off (\"Again with the 'First Off'\"), I LOVE the first 4 books in this series, laughing out loud and doing so often through them, digging the beejeezus out of the characters and the stories, getting more grins out of the cameos from the less-lol-funny but highly enjoyable Pride Series. The 5th book...less funny, but still good and moved the big, multi-book storyline waaaayyy more forward than in...

Loved this book

As with all Shelley Laurenston books it had me engaged and laughing out loud. Have been following all her shifter series for many years and so enjoy this world she has created, the character development, and the humour. This was a worthy addition to her honey badger series. Now wondering where we will be taken next. ) One person found this helpful
