Wicked Fate: Rejected Fate Trilogy, Book 3

by Jen L. Grey

About this book

Fate broke her once, but she refuses to let it happen again. After a humiliating public rejection, she found salvation in the arms of Ryker, a ruthless, possessive alpha whose devotion is as dangerous as it is absolute. Their bond is forged in soul-deep magic, but as they navigate the treacherous politics of their shifter world, the true enemy steps out from the shadows. Betrayal strikes from within, threatening the found family she has fought so hard to protect.

This high-stakes conclusion to the Rejected Fate trilogy is a masterclass in paranormal romance. It masterfully weaves together the intensity of fated-mates and the slow-burn friction of enemies-to-lovers, all set against a backdrop of complex pack dynamics. As secrets unravel and the cost of survival rises, the heroine must confront a truth that could shatter everything she holds dear.

If you crave a dark romance that balances sizzling chemistry with heart-pounding action, this is your next obsession. Ryker is the quintessential morally-gray alpha—the kind of hero who would gladly burn the world down to protect his mate—while the heroine proves that even after being discarded, she is a force of nature. Brace yourself for a ride-or-die conclusion that demands everything.

ending felt rushed

September 19, 2025

For as much as I loved these books and these characters I kind of felt like this ending didn't do these characters justice. So much happens in the last 50 pages that our only resolution for these characters is 3 pages?! THREE. These characters didn't KISS til book 2 and you're going to tell me all that slow burn and I only get 3 pages post war?! I liked the story liked the twist but I wanted more of a glimpse into their life post war. ) 2 people found this helpful

The Rejected Fate Series Oh My!

May 3, 2025

I really do love a story/series with plenty of twists and turns and unexpected plot elements. This series did not disappoint. From tragic betrayals to fated mate discovery it had it all! The growth of the relationship between Ryker and Ember was satisfying to say the least when they realize that no matter what love does overcome all. Definitely a good read! ) 3 people found this helpful

Good Series… rushed ending

I did really enjoy this series. Combined the spice is a level 2/5. I really enjoyed the characters and the personalities of the characters. Lots of potential. I would say it’s worth a read but wouldn’t read again imo. My issues: The ending was very rushed, I feel like in the middle of the second book the author struggled with the plot a little and maybe lost focus? It just felt like what was supposed to be a grand build up ended up as a lot of rushed battles and half thought out endings. I also...

Loved

July 18, 2025

Absolutely loved all the characters in this book series, just felt the ending left you with more questions and wanting more of Ember and Ryker and the whole team! Like future babies..? More from Gage, Xander and Kendric absolutely loved those guys and will Raven mysteriously come back or will Kendric find new love and heal his heart? Ashlyn,? What becomes of her and her amazing talents? Figured she’d stay with Ember, then Adara and her mom? Who was witch in the center? Lot of questions with the...
