Wild Sign (Alpha and Omega Book 6)

by Patricia Briggs

About this book

When a secluded mountain town in Northern California goes completely silent, leaving behind only abandoned lives and unanswered questions, the FBI turns to the only people equipped to handle the impossible: the Marrok’s pack. Charles Cornick, the Marrok's lethal enforcer, and his mate, Anna Latham, are dispatched to investigate the eerie disappearance. What they discover is far more sinister than a mere cold case; a primal, ancient evil has stirred within the forest, and it possesses a terrifying familiarity with their kind.

This installment in the beloved Alpha and Omega series is a masterclass in urban fantasy, blending high-stakes mystery with the raw, emotional depth that fans have come to adore. At its heart, the story remains a beautiful exploration of pack dynamics and the unbreakable bond between two souls who define the series. As Charles and Anna face a predator that has hunted wolves before, they must rely on their found-family and their unique connection to survive.

Perfect for readers who crave paranormal romance filled with atmospheric tension and deep character growth, this book stands out as a cut above. Whether you are a longtime follower of the series or looking for a gripping new world to inhabit, this is a haunting, unputdownable journey.

This one was a cut above the rest...

I have always enjoyed pretty much anything Patricia Briggs has written, but this installment within the Alpha & Omega series is really a cut above the rest. It was well paced, didn't get boughed down in detailed explanation of the inner working of bonds and breaking curses (cough Smoke Bitten cough), and had legitimate character growth of several characters. I am so excited to read what comes next, it just sucks that we probably won't see another installment for 2-3 years. 1. Loved Bran and...

Not a never-before-seen plot, but still a good read.

I've read this one twice now since it was released. The first time standalone and the second time after rereading the Alpha and Omega series as a whole. I've been a fan of Briggs for over a decade now, and I admit that the last few books do have a slightly different feel than some of the earlier ones. Still, they hold up, and both times I read this one I couldn't put it down for long. Definitely heads up warning about sexual assault, r*pe, forced pregnancy, and related content. Nothing is...

One of my favorite reads of the year! I just can't get enough of this series/characters.

\"Charles belonged to Anna with all his complicated soul and uncomplicated heart.\" I have been on a journey with Anna and Charles for almost a decade, and I don't see myself leaving them anytime soon. Wild Sign is another amazing addition to the Alpha & Omega series, I honestly just can't get enough of the complex and intriguing characters in the Marrok's pack. I especially love the bond Anna has with everyone, she is a very important pack member and has made life easier for many wolves. Her...

A wonderful wild ride

I put off reading this because I had other books that I was reading and I wanted to finish them. Then, just yesterday, I decided to sample the first few pages. And of course, I was hooked. And I couldn't read other books anymore because I had to read this one. Simple as that. I was NOT for a moment bored. I have read the entire series twice over. And this story felt as fresh as on its own as all the other books even reading all of the books all in a row. That's astounding to me because it shows...

It’s missing that special something

March 19, 2021

I eat up Briggs books as soon as they come out! Usually in one sitting and this one was no different. While many if not all of the Anna and Mercy’s books have dealt with some pretty dark topics and there have been many sad or serious scenes, they also tend to contain plenty of bright, humorous or pure moments with plenty of special Easter eggs to reward long term readers. Memories from the Marrok, characters revealing or recounting Mercy’s many pranks, glimpses into the thoughts of some of the...
