Winter's Arrow: A Dark Snow White Retelling (X-Clan, Book 3)

by Lexi C. Foss

About this book

True love is a lie, and Winter Snow is finished playing the victim. Betrayed by the man she loved and usurped by her wicked stepmother, the former princess has spent years in the shadows, trading her glass slippers for a lethal bow. She is no longer the damsel waiting for a rescue; she is the Winter’s Arrow, a deadly force of nature fueled by a singular, burning desire for vengeance.

Her path collides with Kazek Flor, an unapologetic Alpha shifter who cares nothing for fairy-tale endings. When he finds the broken Omega dying in the woods, he doesn’t offer a kiss of life—he offers the tools for destruction. Together, they form a dangerous alliance that blurs the lines between protector and partner, turning a classic tale of innocence into a gritty, high-stakes battle for the throne of the Winter Sector.

This gripping entry in the X-Clan Omegaverse blends dark paranormal romance with an intense found-family dynamic. If you crave a story where the heroine bites back and the alpha is as ruthless as he is devoted, this wolf shifter retelling delivers a sharp, bloody edge to a familiar legend. Prepare for a hunt where the prey has finally become the predator.

Modern Snow White

February 16, 2024

Wow. This story packed a punch. It was a modern retelling of Snow White (Winter) and the Huntsman (Alpha Kazak) with wolf shifters. Kazak was a lone wolf, but lived in a sector as a second to the alpha in charge. He was sent to an engagement party and was besotted with Snow, even though she was a beta and not an omega. He was drawn to her and was determined to find her and play even though she was due to be married. Snow has lived under her the care of an alpha female since she was a baby. Now...

Can Winter's Arrow take back her kingdom with the help of a Huntsman???

June 29, 2020

This was the perfect mix of adorable and serious. I love this world and I was so happy to be able to explore 2 new sectors in this book. I also loved that this was a twist on Snow White and I really loved the 7 \"dwarfs\" and how they were Snow/Winter's guard and protected her from Vanessa. I also liked how Kazek wasn't the huntsman from the original fairytale but instead took on more of a \"Snow White and the Huntsman\" inspiration instead, he also was a pretty good Alpha and did do everything...

Vengeance & Wolves

November 7, 2024

Winter's Arrow delivers a dark, thrilling twist on revenge with a heroine who's as deadly as she is determined. Winter Snow isn't here for a fairy-tale ending. She's back to take her kingdom and settle the score. Betrayed by her \"true love\" and stepmother, she's no longer the sweet princess they once knew. She's the Winter's Arrow, and her aim is deadly. Kazek Flor, the ultimate alpha wolf who, claims her as his and partners up to bring Winter Sector to its knees. Fierce, possessive, and...

I'm undecided on Omegaverse stories

September 12, 2024

I have read a few different Omegaverse books, trying to understand the attraction, and understand the concept of a heroine submitting to win... But this just left me feeling icky. **Spoilers** The description of this book is misleading. It's a play on the classic fairytale Snow White, but only a few elements. Snow, the FMC, does not go from being a scared, endangered princess to a brave queen. She goes from being a beta who's allowed certain rights to an Omega, who has zero rights, even as...

Let the snow melt!

February 14, 2025

Exciting and sexy, this shifter romance leaves you wanting more at every turn. I could hardly put the book down, and when I did I couldn’t stop thinking about when I could pick it back up. Lexi Foss triumphs once more in this cheek-flushing tale of blood and spirit. The story flows well with plot twists and laughable dialogue. You’ll fall for Snow’s stubbornness as easily as Kazek did. )
