Witches Get Stitches: Stay a Spell, Book 3

by Juliette Cross

About this book

Violet Savoie is a powerhouse Seer with a singular ambition: opening a magical tattoo shop in the heart of New Orleans. While she can weave intricate charms into skin, she remains powerless to help her business partner, Nico Cruz, manage the restless wolf threatening to break free from his control. Their professional partnership is a delicate dance, but beneath the surface lies a simmering, long-standing tension that has been building since a single, unforgettable night years ago.

Nico, a brooding and intensely loyal werewolf, has spent years playing the long game, determined to convince the independent Violet that they are fated mates. As he shifts from subtle seduction to desperate protection, the arrival of his former pack disrupts their carefully constructed world. This paranormal romance masterfully blends high-stakes pack dynamics with the warmth of a found-family, grounding the supernatural chaos in a deeply emotional connection.

When a sinister threat puts Violet in mortal danger, Nico’s restraint finally snaps. The result is a high-octane race against time where magic meets raw, primal instinct. Perfect for fans of slow-burn romance and lush, atmospheric world-building, this installment delivers the long-awaited payoff that readers of the series have been craving.

Nico and Violet - a best friends swoony sweet tale

August 7, 2021

I loved watching Nico and Violet get to their HEA. And the rest of the characters in the Savoie sister universe also did not disappoint. This is the third book in the Stay a Spell series. Violet is a witch, a divine seer, and after working at her family’s bar as a waitress for years she is now embarking on her dream to open a tattoo shop. Violet is working on tattoos imbued with magic. Nico is a werewolf who left Austin and the pack he was with for reasons. He moves to New Orleans where his...

Witches Get Stitches is book three in the Stay a Spell series by Juliette Cross. This is Nico and Violet’s novel. Violet is one of six Savoie sisters and is also a twin. She’s a Divine Seer. She’s worked at her family’s bar to save up money to open up her own tattoo parlor. She’s a witch who has no interest in settling down; especially with a sexy werewolf. Nico is a werewolf who was part of a pack in Austin. He needed a fresh start after a bad incident and when he meets Violet it gave him that...

One of the best series I’ve read in a while

Third book in the series, did not disappoint. If you have been reading from the beginning then this book has been a serious “FINALLY!!” moment. We’ve seen Violet and Nico interacting since book 1 and thankfully for me I started this series when their story was already out so I didn’t have to wait too long to get to them. Their story is sweet, and annoying (in a good way) and sexy as all get out! All that pent up sexual tension between the two of them has been building and building and the blow...

I really liked these two and it was an enjoyable read! I was wary of Violet from the other books, but her and Nico made a great couple. It just didn’t pull me in as much as the other two books; the main conflict wound up being much tamer than I thought. )

Friends to Lovers to Mates

I have been waiting for Nico's book and then Jules' book. I will have to wait a little longer for Jules', but can safely say that Nico's lived up to it's name! These two have been dancing around each other since book 1 when we got a tease that something had happened to them but had no clue what it was. I really liked their chemistry and how different the thought processes were from these two. Violet is one of the stronger seerers that there are. She was told by her aunt when she was younger...
