It was the prefect blend of a wolf story with a fae story. I never expected for the two different types of stories to blend together so well. The tensions, the desire, the emotional intelligence and the dual povs are *chefs kiss*. It’s been a while since I read such a good romance fantasy book like this. Felicity Heaton has done an incredible job with this series. )

This slow burn will make you a fan for sure, as you see the walls of Saphira breaking down. From the beginning you see through her own pain she refuses to be taken advantage of again, so she uses the only weapon she has, her words. Because of this she sparks something in Kaeleron and boy do I love it!
