Antoinetta Scarletti is a world-renowned musician whose life was forever altered by a tragic accident that left her blind and scarred. Yet, her soul remains vibrant, channeling her psychic heritage into music that transcends the physical realm. When she begins to sense a mysterious, predatory presence lurking in the shadows of her home, she does not find fear. Instead, she discovers a powerful, haunting connection that defies explanation, drawing her into a world of ancient secrets and intense desire.
Byron is one of the oldest and most formidable of the Carpathians, a man who has wandered through centuries of darkness. Haunted by his past and weary of his eternal existence, he finds his salvation in the haunting melodies of a woman who sees him not as a monster, but as a dream. For a creature defined by his predatory nature, Antoinetta is the light he has craved for eons. Their bond is instant, primal, and absolute.
This installment of the beloved paranormal romance series masterfully blends gothic atmosphere with a gripping mystery. Moving away from the typical vampire conflicts, the narrative focuses on a deep, fated-mates soul connection that is both erotic and tender. It is a must-read for fans of urban fantasy who crave high-stakes emotion and timeless love stories.

This book is great! For once, we didn’t have any vampires terrorizing people in this book and it’s a nice breather I didn’t know I wanted. The mysteries consisted of who’s trying to kill Antoinetta and her family, who the shape shifting jaquar is, who’s stealing their family treasures and several more side mysteries. It was all so fascinating and had me enthralled and guessing at every turn. So much fun! I can...

The print quality is fantastic. Exactly how I remember it as a kid. Mass-produced books have actually always been a favorite of mine. The way the pages smell, the soft fluttering of the pages as you fan through them, or just turning each page, really makes you feel that cozying up with a book vibe that we readers crave. Definitely a good quality to add to the shelves. Especially for those of us with a TBR taller than we are. Beautifully priced and excellently crafted. )

\"Dark Symphony\" is the most Gothic novel in Christine Feehan's highly original Carpathian series. Carpathians are a unique race of beings, originating in Romania's Carpathian Mountains, who have existed since humans first inhabited the earth. They are definitely not vampires. Acquiring sustenance...
