Bound and Unbound: A paranormal novella duology

by Caroline Peckham
The shadows are lengthening in this brutal post-apocalyptic world, and for Montana and Callie, the stakes have never been higher. As the fifth installment in a gritty, high-stakes vampire saga, this narrative pushes the boundaries of dark romance, forcing the sisters to navigate a landscape where gods, monsters, and bloodthirsty immortals collide. Forget the sparkling vampires of old; here, the hunger is visceral, the violence is relentless, and the line between predator and prey is permanently blurred.
Montana has been irrevocably altered, transformed into a creature of ruin who must now stand as an equal to the prince who stole her heart. Meanwhile, Callie grapples with the hollow ache of separation, questioning if the sister she once knew can survive the darkness consuming her soul. As a treacherous plot brews in the city, the twin sisters are drawn into a web of political instability and Norse-inspired mythology that threatens to tear their reality apart.
This series is a masterclass in enemies-to-lovers tension and academy-style angst. With a perfect blend of nail-biting suspense and deep character evolution, it is an essential read for those craving a savage, unapologetic paranormal romance that refuses to pull any punches.

The 1st half of this was full of love and laughs(cue scary music) and the 2nd half in true sisters form was filled with action, anxiety, pure delicious nail biting angst!! Valentina is earning a spot as one of most hated villians.. I SO didn't see that twist coming! I loved every minute of it.And will be crying in a corner until the next book comes out. ) One person found this helpful

I love the characters, the world, and storyline. But this one was a bit repetitive, particularly toward the end. still very enjoyable and can't wait to chew thru the next one. )

Adult series that gets into racism, politics, Norse mythology, incredible world building post apocalypse, astounding character development that shows real growth, and is a stand alone series so it’s has no overlap in character. )

The story line is getting stretched too thin in this book in my opinion. The new power given to Valentina to control the two ,em seems like an after thought and a quick fix to keep the story going. )

This moved slower, but it was still good and I'm still hooked. *This book is rated R. The F word and other strong language are used often. There is detailed bloody violence and explicit on page spice. ) One person found this helpful
