Kiss of the Night (Dark-Hunter Novels Book 4)

by Sherrilyn Kenyon

About this book

For twelve centuries, Wulf Tryggvason has walked the shadows as a lethal Dark-Hunter, a Viking warrior bound by a cruel curse: anyone who encounters him forgets his existence within five minutes. This supernatural amnesia has rendered his life a solitary, hollow blur, preventing him from ever forming the deep, soul-binding connection required to reclaim his humanity. He is a ghost among the living, destined to remain forever alone until he encounters the one woman who refuses to fade from his memory.

Cassandra is more than just a beautiful enigma; she is the princess of the very race Wulf has sworn to eradicate. This forbidden love pits a warrior against his own blood oath, igniting a high-stakes conflict that defies the laws of gods and monsters alike. As their worlds collide, they become pawns in a treacherous game of ancient prophecies and divine interference.

If you crave a paranormal romance that masterfully blends historical grit with heart-wrenching yearning, this installment is an essential read. Sherrilyn Kenyon delivers a captivating narrative where the stakes are life and death, and the only path to redemption lies in a love that shouldn't exist. Prepare to be swept away by this dark, addictive tale.

Wulf Tryggvason is an ancient dark-hunter with one major set back: everyone forgets him after five minutes - except for his squire, who is a family member and therefore the only human one earth who can remember him. Cassandra Peters is a half-human, half-appolite princess who is nearing her twenty-seventh birthday. She has a bodyguard who follows her every move and protects her from potential threats of daimons. Though this doesn't ease the fear of slowly decaying in a few short months. She has...

The only issue is that the further you read in the series the more violent the books become. I definitely recommend the book, I just caution people that when you get to books such as Acheron and Styxx, the violence and torture can become too much to read. I had a very hard time finishing the last book she wrote (Styxx) because of how...
