I am absolutely in love with this series. This book continues the incredible writing of the author. The main focus of this story is Balthazar and Erika, but the side stories of Rahvyn, Nate, and Lassiter as well as Devina's interference gutted me! I was happy this book focused on Balthazar after his interaction with Erika in the previous book. Erika is the perfect female for him, and I loved their connection from the very beginning. Lover Arisen is billed as the twentieth book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, and that isn't counting all the side stories, novella and spin-off series. This world just continues to expand and change. Lover Arisen is a transformational book that takes the reader farther from the original BDB brothers into a world where things are definitely changing. I love the world ward has created among the black dagger brotherhood. I own all of the books and the side stories within the world. Her her early books in the series where much better than these later ones. I'd like to hear more about the supporting house hold members outside of Quinn and Bly who seem to be primary role in every book since they became a couple. I assume that theres a huge gay fan base, based on how many gay male couples there are. No female couples or transgender or any other...
