Bound and Unbound: A paranormal novella duology

by Blood Book
Della sought nothing more than a paycheck that didn't feel like a death sentence, but her new position at Ipomoea Pharmaceuticals pulls her into a world of shadows and whispered warnings. Her boss, Josiah, is a man of chilling intensity who watches her with an ancient, predatory focus. He is not merely a superior; he is an immortal vampire who has decided that Della belongs to him, long before she even realizes her fate is sealed.
This dark fantasy romance masterfully weaves forced-proximity tension with the intensity of a morally black, alpha-hero who would dismantle the world to keep his human obsession safe. As Josiah eliminates unseen threats with monstrous efficiency, the lines between protection and possession blur. Their connection is volatile, steeped in gothic atmosphere and the kind of dangerous, all-consuming devotion that defines the best of the genre.
For readers who crave a paranormal romance where the stakes are as high as the body count, this story delivers a magnetic, high-tension experience. It is a seductive descent into a world where blood and smoke dictate the terms of love. If you are searching for a dark, atmospheric read that pushes the boundaries of immortal desire, look no further.

This was a good read knowing the guy was exactly what he was. Knowing he loved her genuinely. The spicy was just right if you are not cringe at blood. Overall good read. )

I picked this book up for the sheer fact that it is about vampires. A big part of my reading happens to be about vampires, so it caught my eye. The story line is deep and some differing from my norm, I am glad that I stuck it out though because it was enjoyable and I’m happy to know the ending now :) ) One person found this helpful

Josiah is an incredibly compelling character—dark, magnetic, sexy, and atmospheric in exactly the way a Gothic vampire romance should be. Larissa Vincente clearly has a gift for creating seductive character energy and rich visual mood. Unfortunately, the book desperately needed stronger editing and proofreading. There were frequent typos, syntax issues, continuity errors, incorrect word choices (“taunt” instead of “taut”), missing words, and even misspellings of main character names. As someone...

I'm very picky about dark fantasy romance books. Larissa Vincent is truly one of the authors I will read in this type of book. Josiah and Della are not only the hottest couple but the story is full of twist and turns, a type of revenge plot and an ending that made me swoon! Best to read these in order although each book focuses on a different couple. This one will leave you yearning for more! )
