I was anxiously awaiting this book's release after reading the blurb, because the plot was something I knew I'd love. I was crossing my fingers it would be well-written so I could end up enjoying it as much as I'd hoped, and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. It was sexy and thrilling, and the characters were engaging and just won me over completely. Vlad was definitely one of my very favorite secondary characters from Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series. The legendary Dracula -- but don't call him that please! A super hot, super seductive vampire with a tremendous amount of power and charisma. I have been waiting for Once Burned since Frost first announced she was writing this book. It hasn't been a patient wait for me, and when I finally got my hands on this novel, I had extremely high hopes for it. I was not disappointed!
